New webinar answers questions about 2021 E/M changes
A new CME webinar will answer questions about the 2021 evaluation and management (E/M) documentation guidelines for office and outpatient visits that took effect Jan. 1. The Feb. 25 session is a follow-up to ISMA’s previous webinar, “2021 E/M Changes,” which is available at no charge on the ISMA Online app.

The speaker for “2021 Evaluation and Management (E/M) Changes: Questions and Answers,” is Carol Hoppe, CPC, CCS-P, CPC-I, (left) who also spoke during the previous session. The new webinar is open to ISMA members at no charge and to nonmembers for $25.

The webinar will provide a brief overview of the new guidelines for coding based on time or medical decision making. Hoppe will also discuss five case scenarios from different specialties, and participants will calculate the code levels together. At the end, she will answer questions about using the new guidelines, starting with questions submitted prior to the session.

Register here. If you have questions you would like Carol Hoppe to answer, submit them to Jessica Davis by Friday, Feb. 19.
