In this two-part webinar series,
Carol Hoppe, CPC, health care consultant with MedLucid Solutions LLC, will give an update on Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) expirations and the end of the federal public health emergency (PHE) as it relates to Medicare and Medicaid billing/coding for telehealth, etc. She will further address 2023 CPT code set updates and changes in coding and documentation for evaluation-and-management (E/M) services. These changes are the result of landmark reforms to minimize administrative burdens that were implemented last year for E/M services performed in outpatient and office settings. Starting Jan. 1, the updates will be implemented across all health care settings.
