On Thursday, Sept. 22, Owen County Judge Kelsey Blake Hanlon issued a preliminary injunction that temporarily halts the implementation of SEA 1 and its recently enacted changes to Indiana’s abortion statutes. The ruling was made in a Monroe County Circuit Court case filed last month by the American Civil Liberties Union of Indiana on behalf of health care providers and a pregnancy resource center.
