ISMA talks policy at AMA Roundtable
ISMA’s Vice President of Government Affairs Savannah Neary sat on a panel about downcoding, prior authorization and other payer reforms at the AMA State Advocacy Roundtable this week in California. She discussed Indiana bills HEA 1271 (Payment of Health Claims-Downcoding) and SEA 189 (Nonparticipating providers), which were both the first of their kind in the nation, with other state medical associations.
