Register for the newly enhanced ISMA Physician Advocacy Leadership Training Program

Now is the time to reserve your spot for the next cohort of the ISMA Advocacy Leadership Training Program!

Previously called “Advocacy Bootcamp,” ISMA has taken feedback from recent graduates and expanded the curriculum to include asynchronous learning opportunities to allow more flexibility and optional assignments to increase depth of knowledge.

This dynamic hybrid initiative is designed to cultivate and enhance the skills of our most engaged members, combining online learning with in-person sessions to provide a flexible yet rigorous training experience.

Topics that will be covered include: how policy is made in Indiana, the anatomy of the federal and state legislatures, how to track bills, how to write a resolution for the ISMA House of Delegates, self-awareness and self-management when meeting with legislators, and how to prepare for meetings with policymakers.

The 2024-2025 hybrid program will run from October through May and will consist of recorded, Zoom and in-person sessions led by ISMA’s Government Relations team and other subject-matter experts. Participants will also attend Physician Advocacy Day at the Statehouse on March 12.

ALL ISMA members are eligible to participate in the program. The cost is $200, and registration is open until Sept. 24 at 11:59 p.m. ET.  The program has been accredited for up to 10.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™.

Just a few spots remain for this popular program, so don’t delay in signing up!
