National anthem
ISMA member Eric Yancy, MD, an independent pediatrician in Indianapolis for more than 40 years, will sing the national anthem at Sunday’s House of Delegates meeting. Dr. Yancy also sang the national anthem at the 2021 NCAA Division 1 Men’s Basketball Championship Game and is the author of the recently published medical thriller "Cottonmouth."

Governor’s Commission on Public Health report
Kristina Box, MD, FACOG, Indiana state health commissioner, will present the report of the Governor’s Commission on Public Health (CPH) at 6 p.m. Friday. Dr. Box, an OB/GYN for 30 years,  will discuss the report’s recommendations for improvements in funding, workforce, governance and infrastructure, data and analytics, emergency preparedness, and childhood and adolescent health.
