Indiana’s new electronic vital records reporting system, DRIVE, will be accessible through the centralized Access Indiana state services portal when the new system goes live this fall.

The Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) is asking mandated vital events reporters to familiarize themselves with Access Indiana now by creating an account if they don’t already have one, as it will be required to access DRIVE. A DRIVE icon will be added to Access Indiana sometime before DRIVE goes live, and ISDH will transfer all active user profiles over from the current Genesis reporting system. These plans do not affect the way vital records reporters use Genesis.
