Use your voice to influence the future of health care! The ISMA Pulse resolution commenting period has just 10 days left, so now is the time for you to review and comment on 2024 resolutions.
All resolutions submitted by the June 9 deadline for consideration at the 175th Annual ISMA Convention are now online.
ALL ISMA members – not just delegates – can participate by sharing their thoughts about the resolutions
until Sunday, Aug. 11 at 11:59 p.m. ET on ISMA Pulse.
Fiscal notes are being uploaded to the Pulse on Aug. 1 and will soon be available for viewing.
Summaries of resolution feedback from all ISMA members will be posted on Pulse under the “
Pulse Summaries” tab after Aug. 12.
There are two ways to communicate your thoughts on resolutions using Pulse:
- Submit feedback: Feedback lets you tell the 2024 House of Delegates how you think it should vote on each resolution: Adopt it (as is), amend it, not adopt it, or refer it to the Board of Trustees for study or action. You can also choose “No Opinion” if you are neutral on a resolution.
- Leave a comment: Once you have left feedback on a resolution, you can add additional information, thoughts or opinions. To maintain transparency and encourage interaction, your name will be displayed with your comments, and comments cannot be changed once they have been submitted.
A video explaining how to use Pulse can be found at
www.ismanet.org/convention. If you have any questions, contact information can be found via
www.ismapulse.com/support.
New this year, members can review progress on 2023 resolutions by clicking on the
“Resolution Implementation” function in Pulse. After accessing the tab, users can see all of last year’s resolutions and the updates made to them by clicking each individual resolution link.
Reminder on handbooks
During the 174th Annual Convention in September, it was announced that the Board of Trustees (BOT) had decided ISMA would no longer print handbooks starting in 2024. Like in years past, the full handbook components and, if needed, the supplemental handbook will be available for free download electronically on ISMA’s website and via the convention app. Attendees can purchase a printed handbook online from a local copy shop partnering with ISMA and have it ready for them for pickup at registration. The link to order and pay for printed copies of the handbook will be shared in the registration confirmation email and on the ISMA convention web pages.
Registration is now open for the 175th Annual ISMA Convention!
