ISMA is excited to announce it has been reaccredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) for another four years.
ACCME reaccreditation criteria encompass various aspects of continuing medical education (CME), such as educational planning, content development, delivery, evaluation, and continuous improvement. ISMA’s reaccreditation process involved submitting a self-study report, a comprehensive review of the association’s overall program of CME activities, and an in-depth examination of its compliance with ACCME’s standards, criteria and policies.
The reaccreditation highlights ISMA’s excellence in educational planning and its ability to deliver high-quality CME that addresses physicians' diverse needs, ISMA Director of Education and Physician Resources Ranae Obregon said.
“ISMA’s reaccreditation by ACCME for another four years is a significant milestone that reflects the association’s unwavering commitment to excellence in medical education,” Obregon said. “ISMA will continue to provide high-quality CME activities that support physician learning, enhance clinical practice, and ultimately contribute to improved health outcomes for the patients they serve.”
Through a range of CME activities, including live conferences, webinars, online courses, and enduring materials accessible through the ISMA Online mobile app, ISMA provides educational resources that address the evolving needs of the medical community.
