ISMA will have one additional AMA Delegate slot and one additional AMA Alternate Delegate slot.  Three AMA delegates and three alternate delegates will be elected at Convention this year. A candidate for the AMA House of Delegates must be a current, active member of the AMA and ISMA.

Candidates may declare their intent to run for ISMA office or AMA delegation at any time before elections during the 177th Annual Convention on Sept. 25-27. Only those who submit the form by Monday, Aug. 10 at www.ismanet.org/CandidateForm will be announced in ISMA publications. Candidates are encouraged to submit a current professional headshot photo.

ISMA officers elected at Convention include the president-elect, speaker, vice speaker, treasurer and assistant treasurer. These positions serve one-year terms. The president-elect becomes president a year after their election. 

A candidate for ISMA office must have been an active ISMA member for the past two years to be eligible. Nominations may be made at any House of Delegates session and remain open until elections occur at Convention on Sept. 27. Officers serve until their successor is installed.
