ISMA announces the hiring of Doug Wylie as its new director of information technology.  

In his new role, Wylie oversees all of ISMA’s technology, including cloud and on-premises infrastructure, communications, applications and end-user support, and HIPAA security, among other duties. 

Wylie has over two decades of experience in IT management, systems administration, and cybersecurity. He most recently served as a systems administrator at Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) for Eli Lilly after working in IT administration and management for Indiana United Methodist Children’s Home in Lebanon from 2014 to 2023. Before working for the children’s home, Wylie was a senior analyst at Ascension St. Vincent for 10 years. 

Wylie graduated from Carolina Career College in Durham, North Carolina, where he honed his skills in Microsoft Education, Training and Certifications. Between 2006 and 2018, he delved deep into information security and compliance, covering areas such as endpoint administration, data security, and compliance with standards like HIPAA, FERPA, ISO, NIST, CSA, CIS, and HiTech. His education also included essential skills in project management, network security, data loss prevention, and technical support. 

Wylie said he’s excited to join the ISMA team and utilize his skills, training and experience to support their unique environment, tackle new challenges and drive impactful projects that will support the company’s growth and success.
