Innovative technology will enhance resolution process, convention
The 172nd Annual ISMA Convention is now less than two months away. For this year’s event, which will be held virtually Sept. 10 to Sept. 12, ISMA is using innovative digital technology to enhance the convention experience and simplify participation. We’ll be sharing more information about these tools soon, but here’s a sneak peek and a few updates on the resolutions process.

ISMA Pulse
ISMA Pulse is an innovative, online member engagement tool that will enable all ISMA members to give feedback on resolutions and preliminary reference committee recommendations before convention, when the House of Delegates votes. ISMA Pulse will make policy making more transparent and give every member a chance to be heard on important issues affecting patients, the practice of medicine and ISMA itself. Using ISMA Pulse on your computer, rather than a mobile device, is recommended. Watch for upcoming emails on how to access ISMA Pulse starting July 26.

ISMA Events
ISMA Events is an updated, expanded version of our 2019 convention app. It is the only way to access the 172nd Annual ISMA Convention this year and can be used online and on mobile devices. Your convention schedule and Delegates Handbook will still be there at your fingertips, but this year, you can also use ISMA Events to verify your credentials as a delegate and cast votes. ISMA Pulse is integrated with ISMA Events as well.

Staff now reviewing resolutions
Thank you to all ISMA members who submitted resolutions by the July 12 deadline for consideration by the 2021 House of Delegates. Resolutions are undergoing editorial review and will be posted on ISMA Pulse for member comments on July 26.
