Raymond Dusman, MD, is running in the Indiana University Board of Trustees’ alumni election. He is the only physician on this year’s ballot.

Dr. Dusman, an ISMA member since 1989, has an extensive background in cardiology, clinical research, teaching, and development of educational programs, and currently has executive oversight of all health care delivery for Parkview Health, serving as the president of physician and clinical enterprise. Parkview is a community-based, nonprofit health care system serving 22 counties in northeast Indiana and northwest Ohio.

If elected, Dr. Dusman said he plans to reinforce the importance of science and health care education, training, and research and prepare for a sufficient and necessary future workforce.
