The Physicians Foundation has reopened applications for its 2024 Leadership Award Program’s Dr. Buz Cooper Award for Addressing Drivers of Health (DOH). New or early-career physicians are encouraged to apply by June 21.

In alignment with the foundation’s work to recognize and act on challenges related to DOH, the award honors a physician who has gone above and beyond to connect their patients with the social, economic, educational and environmental resources they need for their overall health. Award recipients will receive a $10,000 award to elevate their efforts to address DOH.
