ISMA recently signed a letter to the American people from the AMA Federation and more than 70 state medical associations and national specialty societies in support of necessary and lifesaving vaccines. The letter cites changes to federal immunization review processes as the impetus for aligned physician guidance for patients. With the approach of influenza season and other public health concerns, physicians across the country are in support of evidence-based immunization to help prevent severe disease and protect public health.
