ISMA Past President Vidya Kora, MD, (right, with U.S. Rep. Pete Visclosky) an internal medicine physician in Michigan City, was inducted into the Times Business & Industry Hall of Fame by the Times of Northwest Indiana on May 1. The award honors “the best of the best pioneers, movers and shakers in Region business.” In addition to his leadership in ISMA, Dr. Kora is a member of the Indiana AMA delegation and chair of AMPAC. He is also a LaPorte County commissioner and has served as a Michigan City school board member and LaPorte County coroner. Read more here.
