ISMA reported last week that local health departments are working with state health officials to distribute a shipment of PPE to physicians and others that lack access to hospital supply chains. The state has now clarified that some of the masks distributed have not been approved for use as N95 respirators. 

The Indiana State Department of Health has asked ISMA to distribute this visual fact sheet to physicians who may have received these masks from their local health departments. The document includes links to emergency use authorizations, product standards and user instructions.
