
Director of Education and Physician Resources Ranae Obregon has been promoted to Vice President of Education and Physician Resources. Ranae has been the managerial lead in several areas, including social drivers of health, DEI, oversight of ISMA’s CME program, Women in Medicine, physician wellness and physician advocacy training.
“The wellness and advocacy training work, in particular, is part of our strategic plan and has been incredibly impactful and is increasing the value proposition for our association,” Executive Vice President Julie Reed, JD, said. “We are seeing this work pay dividends in stakeholder and member engagement. This is exactly our mission – to maximize the leadership and impact of physicians. This work also aspires toward our vision of making Indiana one of the best states in which to practice medicine. Ranae is beloved by our members for her reliability, competence, and professionalism, and she is a great team player – we are lucky to have her on our team.”
She has served as an ISMA CME Surveyor since 2006.
Obregon has been at ISMA for over five years.
