During the 174th ISMA Annual Convention in 2023, the House of Delegates adopted Resolution 23-067 (Expiring Resolution Process).
Per 23-067, the ISMA president will appoint an ad hoc committee to review expiring resolutions for the calendar year. The committee will then list its sunset recommendations on ISMA Pulse no less than 30 days before the resolution deadline, meaning this year’s recommendations will be listed no later than May 31. ISMA members will then be able to react to the committee’s recommendations on ISMA Pulse during a one-month commenting period.
The process of creating the ad hoc committee is currently underway, and ISMA will notify members via ISMA Reports and email when the recommendations are posted on Pulse for review.
