Limited spots remain for Physician Advocacy Advanced Leadership Program

Just a few spots remain for ISMA’s inaugural Physician Advocacy ADVANCED Leadership Program and registration closes soon!

The program, which will meet monthly via Zoom starting April 12, is designed for graduates of the ISMA Advocacy Bootcamp and physicians with some advocacy knowledge who want to develop well-rounded advocacy skills.

Several distinguished speakers are already lined up for the program, including former secretary of the Indiana Family and Social Services Administration Jennifer Sullivan, MD; The Corydon Group President Louis Belch; and Brian Neale, JD, former deputy administrator and director for the Center for Medicaid and CHIP, Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.

The advanced courses will build on the knowledge acquired during the Advocacy Bootcamp. Participants will transition from learning how the legislative process works, to developing and applying advocacy skills through didactic sessions, helpful resource guides and hands-on activities

While all sessions will be held via Zoom, there will be an in-person symposium and reception at ISMA’s 175th Annual Convention that all participants are strongly encouraged to attend. The cost of participating in this exclusive program is $500, and registration closes on April 8. The program will be limited to 20 participants and offer up to 10.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. It will also include free attendance at ISMA’s inaugural physician wellness symposium during convention weekend.
