Apply ASAP for ISMA Health Policy Summer Fellowships
ISMA is seeking two rising second-year medical students, one each from the IU School of Medicine (IUSM) and the Marian University College of Osteopathic Medicine (MU-COM), to help its Government Relations staff with a variety of exciting physician advocacy projects. The Health Policy Summer Fellowships are part-time, paid positions especially suited to future physicians interested in health care administration and in shaping health care's influence in society.

While the hours are flexible based on the students’ schedules, fellows are expected to work weekdays over approximately eight weeks at the ISMA office in Indianapolis. Examples of projects for fellows include researching health care policy, developing talking points and reviewing new laws.

Interested IUSM and MU-COM students who have completed their first year of medical school in good standing should apply as soon as possible using these online instructions. Applications will be accepted and interviews will be conducted on a rolling basis, and final selections will be announced by April 30.
