The AMA Medical Student Advocacy Conference is held annually for AMA medical student members to learn how to become stronger public health advocates and to meet with legislators on Capitol Hill. The 2023 conference was held March 2-3 in Washington, D.C. AMA Medical Student Society Region 5 members from Indiana who attended included, from left, Jacob Cantrell, Avery Chadd, Meghna Peesapati, Meg Tharp and Abigail Deal. They are also members of ISMA’s Medical Student Society.
