The 2021 ISMA annual convention will be held virtually, the Board of Trustees decided at its March 7 meeting. In addition, the convention will include a virtual policy making process to consider new resolutions and those filed in 2020. The ISMA district meetings, which were canceled last year near the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, will also be held virtually this year, the Board decided.

The Board made clear that its decision to meet virtually for convention and district meetings applied only to 2021. Details of the virtual events, including dates and times, have yet to be determined, and further information will be shared with ISMA members as soon as it becomes available.
