In previous years, Physician Advocacy Day at the Indiana Statehouse has been an opportunity for physicians to connect with their legislators and share important information on legislative proposals that impact the practice of medicine. Because of changes to the General Assembly’s usual format due to COVID-19, this year’s physician advocacy event will be a week of virtual advocacy, with several opportunities for you to get involved!
Mark your calendar for the week of March 15 and keep an eye on your inbox for more information.
Given the COVID-19 pandemic, legislators will be looking especially closely at health care, and Physician Advocacy Week will give us a unique opportunity to make our voices as physicians heard on issues that will affect our practices and patients for years to come.
Please check your ISMA contact information in iMIS to ensure we have both your e-mail address and mobile phone number for future advocacy communications you won’t want to miss.
Physicians together, we are driving
the future of health care!
