The ISMA Women in Medicine (WIM) Virtual Discussion Forum has met monthly this year via Zoom after the 2022 annual retreat was canceled. At the final virtual get-together, women physician and medical student members of ISMA will celebrate by sharing seasonal traditions and customs. 

The more, the merrier! We’re looking forward to this time of sharing on Tuesday, Dec. 20, from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. ET. If possible, plan to share a special holiday story, tradition or recipe ­– sharing copies of recipes via Zoom chat is encouraged! Other ways to participate include wearing seasonal attire or uploading seasonal Zoom backgrounds.

WIM Annual Retreat
Sign up now to reserve your spot at ISMA’s 2023 Women in Medicine (WIM) Annual Retreat. After a two-year hiatus, we can’t wait to gather in person on Saturday, Feb. 25, at the luxurious Bottleworks Hotel in Indianapolis.” 

This event is open to all women medical students and physicians in Indiana, including nonmembers.  The art deco hotel includes a spa and is located downtown in a vibrant commercial and nightlife district for your enjoyment throughout the weekend.

Registration is $200 for member physicians, $300 for nonmember physicians, and $100 for residents and medical students, which covers Saturday breakfast, lunch and dinner; the CME workshop; and a reception. To join us for a small, informal group dinner on Friday, please indicate your interest during registration. 

A room block has been reserved for Friday, Feb. 24, and Saturday, Feb. 25 at a special rate of $239 per night (plus tax); rooms will be released to the public after Jan. 25.
