Registration opens Monday for the 2023 Women in Medicine Retreat
Registration for the 2023 ISMA Women in Medicine (WIM) Retreat will open on Monday, Nov. 7. Our first retreat in three years will be at the internationally acclaimed Bottleworks Hotel in downtown Indianapolis on Saturday, Feb. 25. This art-deco boutique hotel is located in what was once the largest Coca-Cola bottling plant in the world. Plan to visit for the weekend – the hotel includes The Woodhouse Day Spa and is surrounded by restaurants and shops in the lively Bottleworks District.

This event is open to all women medical students and physicians in Indiana. Some details are still being finalized, including our presenter, but the workshop topic will be “Women in Leadership and Governance Roles.”

The registration fee is $200 for physician members, $300 for nonmember physicians, and $100 for medical students and residents; that covers Saturday breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as the CME workshop and a reception. On Friday, we’re planning a small, informal group dinner at 7:30 p.m. If you would like to join us, please indicate that by answering the required questions during the registration process.

To register for the WIM Retreat, visit here on or after Monday, Nov. 7.

We ask that you book your hotel room separately. A block of rooms has been reserved for Friday, Feb. 24, and Saturday, Feb. 25. Please identify yourself as attending the Indiana State Medical Association’s weekend retreat to receive the special room rate of $239 per night (plus tax). The rooms will be released to the public after Jan. 25.

We’re looking forward to this time of personal development and good conversation! Watch for more information as the ISMA Women in Medicine retreat approaches.
