IHCP bulletins address audio-only telehealth, monkeypox coverage
The Indiana Health Coverage Programs (IHCP, or Indiana Medicaid) recently published two bulletins of special interest to many physicians. The first notes that IHCP has expanded and clarified its telehealth coverage, while the second announces approval of three new procedure codes related to monkeypox.

BT202297: Effective Dec. 9, 2022, IHCP will expand the list of telehealth services that are covered when provided via audio-only. IHCP also has clarified its parameters regarding skills training and development rendered via telehealth.

BT202299: IHCP is adding coverage for monkeypox testing, vaccine, and vaccine administration at no charge to all IHCP members, including members in limited benefit categories. These changes will be reflected in the next regular update to the Professional Fee Schedule and the Outpatient Fee Schedule, accessible from the IHCP Fee Schedules page.

Details contained in these and all other bulletins from IHCP may be found here.
