The Indiana Health Coverage Programs (IHCP) recently issued several bulletins of interest to many physicians.

BT202289: IHCP is expanding provider reimbursement for the Novavax COVID-19 vaccine and administration procedure codes to include ages 12 and older, for dates of service on or after Aug. 19, 2022.

BT202288: The annual update of the International Classification of Diseases, Tenth Revision (ICD-10) Clinical Modification (CM) diagnosis codes and Procedure Coding System (PCS) procedure codes became effective for the IHCP on Oct. 1, 2022 (federal fiscal year 2023). 

BT202287: IHCP has expanded the allowable age ranges for Moderna COVID-19 vaccine and administration codes and will provide reimbursement for new Moderna COVID-19 administration codes for dates of service on or after June 17, 2022. Any claims submitted for these codes on or after June 17, 2022, that have denied in error will be reprocessed.
