Deadline for AMPAC Award nominations is Jan. 31
The AMPAC Award for Political Participation, given every two years, honors AMA or AMA Alliance members who significantly contribute their time and talent to support friends of medicine in federal or state elections. This includes campaign volunteering or involvement in health care-related election issues.

Nominees cannot be recognized for work on their campaigns and must be current AMA or AMA Alliance and AMPAC members, with preference for those with a history of AMPAC involvement. The winner will be recognized at the AMA Annual Meeting and receive free attendance (airfare and hotel included) to an AMPAC political education program in Washington, D.C.

Nominations are due by Jan. 31. Details on criteria and submissions can be found here.
