Bestselling author to join Women in Medicine Retreat; reserve rooms by tomorrow
National speaker and bestselling author Lisa Herbert, MD, will lead a CME session at next month’s ISMA Women in Medicine Retreat at the Bottleworks Hotel in Indianapolis. Her topic will be “Leadership and Advocacy: The Keys to Influencing Change in Healthcare.” The retreat is open to all women physicians and medical students, both members and nonmembers. Also on Saturday, Indiana State Health Commissioner Kris Box, MD, will give the keynote address and a panel of ISMA women physicians will share their experiences in leadership and advocacy within ISMA and at the Statehouse. Registration is $200 for member physicians, $300 for nonmember physicians, and $100 for residents and medical students, which covers Saturday breakfast, lunch and dinner; the CME session; and a reception.
