Executive Vice President Julie Reed, JD, noted that McNamee’s new title reflects his dual role in ISMA’s policy making and lobbying, as well as his excellent work and leadership in those roles. 

Over the past three years, while simultaneously working for ISMA, McNamee earned his law degree at the IU McKinney School of Law and passed the Indiana bar exam. 

“Luke’s new legal training and skills will help both our policy making and lobbying efforts, where the fundamental skills of research, analysis and written and verbal communication are paramount,” Reed said. “Indiana physicians are well served by having Luke as part of our ISMA team.”
