ISMA welcomes general counsel, 2 other staffers

Chelsea R. Kurth, JD

Chelsea R. (Hanner) Kurth, JD, has joined the ISMA staff as general counsel. Most recently, she was a litigation associate at Ice Miller, LLP, in Indianapolis. She previously worked at ISMA as an undergraduate intern while at Hanover College and as a law clerk for three years while attending IU’s Robert H. McKinney School of Law. She grew up in Parke County and lives in Indianapolis on the Near Northside.

Rhea Langan

Insurance Account Manager Rhea Langan comes to ISMA from Simon Property Group, where she administered and managed employee benefits and human resources for more than 19 years. In this newly created position, she provides personalized customer service to group practices covered through the ISMA Insurance Agency. An Indianapolis resident, she is a Brazil, Indiana, native who studied at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College and is a graduate of Indiana Business College. Langan is studying for her Group Benefits Associate certification through the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans and the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.

Jackie Brown

Jackie Brown has joined the ISMA staff as administrative assistant for the Physician Assistance Program and General Counsel Chelsea Kurth, JD. She has more than 20 years of experience as a legal assistant or legal secretary at law firms and at GEICO and worked three years as a certified medical assistant. Brown, who lives in Fishers, is an Alexandria, Virginia, native and a graduate of University of the Cumberlands and Everest University.
