Program description:

The 2025 ICD-10-CM and CPT coding updates and Medicare compliance changes carry significant implications for healthcare organizations. Introducing new codes and deleting outdated ones will necessitate updates to coding systems and software, ensuring that billing and documentation processes remain accurate.

On October 1, 2024, new updates to the ICD-10-CM (Clinical Modification) code set will go into effect, impacting numerous specialties.  CMS has proposed over 200 new ICD-10-CM codes.  Each year, CPT introduces a range of new, revised, and deleted codes that go into effect on January 1, 2025.

The Medicare final rule refers to a set of regulations issued by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) that outlines changes and updates to the Medicare Program. These rules ensure the Medicare program adapts to the current healthcare environment and continues to serve the needs of its beneficiaries.

Avoid interruptions to your claims and revenue with a comprehensive review of this information.

Objectives:

At the end of this live webinar, attendees will be able to:

  • Identify new, deleted and revised ICD-10-CM and CPT codes for 2025.
  • Distinguish between ICD-10-CM General Guideline and Convention updates.
  • Review and be compliant with the Medicare Final Rule.
