This session will help physicians navigate the complexities of federal student loan programs and repayment strategies.

 

Objectives:

At the end of this webinar, attendees will be able to:

  • Describe how federal student loan programs apply specifically to physicians, including the SAVE plan, PAYE/IBR, and PSLF/TEPSLF options.
  • Evaluate repayment and forgiveness strategies tailored to each stage of a medical career—from residency and fellowship through practice ownership or employment.
  • Recognize opportunities for Indiana-based loan repayment and forgiveness programs, including state-specific initiatives and employer-sponsored student loan contributions.
  • Summarize Thrive’s Student Loan Advisory services for personalized, one-on-one analysis to ensure each physician’s loan strategy aligns with their career goals and financial priorities.
