This program offers a comprehensive exploration of the Medicaid program, focusing on its historical development, structural design, and current dynamics.
Objectives:
At the end of this live webinar, attendees will be able to:

- State administration, including structuring and financing of state Medicaid programs
- Recognize provider-level matters including enrollment, patient engagement, and reimbursement.
- Discuss changes at the federal and state level and how they may affect Medicaid participants and providers.

About the speaker:
Grant Achenbach is an attorney and lobbyist for Krieg DeVault. Grant has extensive experience in the healthcare lobbying space—he joined Krieg DeVault from the ISMA, where he served as the Director of Government Relations. In this role, he represented the interests of physicians and physician groups and was responsible for developing and implementing the ISMA’s yearly legislative agenda. He also advocated for ISMA’s physician members before the Indiana Professional Licensing Agency, the Indiana Department of Insurance, the Family and Social Services Administration, the Indiana Department of Health, and other state agencies.
Grant also practices law with the firm’s Health Care Practice, which focuses primarily on regulatory matters relating to hospitals, physician groups, ambulatory surgical centers, and long-term care facilities. His connections with state agencies, officials, and payers rooted in his governmental affairs experience provide unique value propositions to clients as they seek to navigate Indiana’s legal and regulatory environment.

About the speaker:
Meghan Linvill McNab represents a variety of health care providers in areas including Medicare and Medicaid program reimbursement, Medicaid reform initiatives, regulatory compliance, licensure and survey actions, and various other regulatory issues. McNab also has significant experience counseling hospitals and nursing facilities on Intergovernmental Transfers and Upper Payment Limit programs for Medicaid reimbursement, as well as experience in structuring transactions for compliance with these programs.
Prior to counseling the firm's Health Care clients, McNab was a senior healthcare consultant working in Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement and cost reporting. In addition to being an attorney, McNab is also a Certified Public Accountant.
