ABOUT THE PROGRAM:
ISMA is thrilled to offer an in-person retreat once again, at the internationally acclaimed Bottleworks Hotel in downtown Indianapolis. This art-deco boutique hotel is located in what was once part of the largest Coca-Cola bottling plant in the world. The hotel has an onsite spa, The Woodhouse Day Spa, and is surrounded by the Bottleworks District for your enjoyment throughout the weekend.
National speaker and best-selling author Lisa Herbert, MD, has been secured to lead the CME session entitled “Becoming a Leader and Advocate: The Keys to Influencing Change in Health Care.” Dr. Herbert is a board-certified family physician, executive leadership coach and diversity, equity and inclusion consultant with more than 25 years’ experience providing primary care health care leadership. All retreat participants will receive a free copy of her best-selling book “Physicians Rise Up: A Guide to Evolving as a Healthcare Leader.”

Indiana State Health Commissioner, Kristina Box, MD, has been secured to lead the CME session entitled “Being a Leader and Advocate: Leading Change and Achieving Results.”

Other presenters throughout the day include a panel of ISMA women physician advocates and the ISMA Government Relations team.

DINING OPTIONS
All dinner activities on Friday evening and Sunday morning breakfast are on your own.
However, we will be arranging for a small informal group dinner on Friday evening at 7:30 pm. If you would like to join the group, please indicate that by answering the required questions during the registration process.
The workshop registration fee covers all other functions (Saturday’s CME event, breakfast, lunch, reception and dinner).
We look forward to good food and great conversation!
ACCOMODATIONS
A group room block has been reserved for Friday, Feb. 24, and Saturday, Feb. 25. When reserving your room, please identify yourself as attending the Indiana State Medical Association’s weekend retreat to receive the special room rate of $239 per night (plus tax).
You must reserve your hotel room separately, if needed, and may do so by calling Bottleworks Hotel at 317-556-1234 or by using the online booking link of https://reservations.travelclick.com/112191?groupID=3714913 to reserve your room within the group block.
The cut-off date for reservations is Friday, January 27, 2023.
Unreserved rooms will be released and will be subject to availability thereafter.

The Bottleworks Hotel offers valet parking at a cost of $45 for overnight stays. Additional garage parking is available for a cost and is located on the Northwest Corner of Carrollton and Massachusetts Avenue.
