About the speaker:
Jan Hailey has more than 30 years of experience in health care. She has a Master of Health Leadership degree and is proficient in office administration, coding and insurance billing roles, and teaches medical office professionals around the country how to excel in their careers.
During her expansive career, Hailey has led comprehensive interdisciplinary teams, working closely with providers, management, staff, communities, and payers to develop strategies for process improvement, quality gap closures, and patient experience. She developed a documentation improvement program and a Hierarchical Condition Category (HCC) coding education program to predict future health care utilization by accurately reporting patient complexity.
Hailey is a WPS Government Health Administrators (Medicare) Provider Outreach and Advisory Group member and serves on Practice Management Institute’s National Advisory Board. She has also been instrumental in the development of Practice Management Institute’s Workforce Initiatives program.
