Program description:

The Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) has partnered with Battelle Critical Care Decontamination System (CCDS) to help meet critical personal protective equipment (PPE) needs during the COVID-19 pandemic. ISDH will use Battelle to decontaminate N95 respirators up to 20 times, free of charge, for health care facilities, doctors and EMS operations across Indiana beginning this month.

Battelle’s decontamination system uses high concentrations of vapor phase hydrogen peroxide (VPHP) to decontaminate PPE, and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has issued an Emergency Use Authorization for Battelle during the COVID-19 pandemic.

This webinar will help physicians and other medical professionals become familiar with the Battelle Critical Care Decontamination System and understand the collection/distribution process for the N95 respirators.
