Training set for state’s new electronic death reporting system
Virtual training sessions for end users of Indiana’s new electronic death reporting system begin the week of Aug. 10 and continue through Oct. 9. Sessions are specific to each user’s role, such as coroner or medical certifier, and the Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) is limiting attendance at each one to maintain an interactive, classroom-like atmosphere.

A link to register for a training session is posted on the website for DRIVE (Database Registration of Indiana’s Vital Events). Clicking the link will open a spreadsheet with tabs. Find the tab specific to your user role and click on it to see the available training dates and times for your role. Click on the link for the session you would like to attend, and you’ll be redirected to the registration page to sign up.

A recorded presentation of each user-role training session will be posted on the DRIVE website for anyone unable to attend a live webinar or for those who want to view the recorded training session after it is posted in October.

For questions, email the DRIVE team at ISDH.
